the lab looks at what has been installed
The installer records nothing about what a program does, and the catalogue says unknown and means it. This page is something else: the lab taking each installed program, placing the same sixty-four bytes on a private copy of Ethereum, and calling it five ways with every instruction traced. What follows is observation, not record. It is written by the harness that ran the million-program study, it curates nothing, and it can be wrong about the real program in one specific way: a program that reads its own address, balance or block will see different values here than on mainnet.
The catalogue states facts. The lab records what executed. The readings are allowed to interpret.
